Rabbit Boarding
Rabbit Boarding at Elite Bunny Retreat
At Elite Bunny Retreat, we’re dedicated to providing your furry friends with the best indoor boarding experience, offering individual runs designed for their comfort and well-being.
Run Sizes & Space Options
We offer two spacious run sizes:
🐰 Elite Run – 2m x 1m
🐰 Deluxe Elite Run – 3m x 1m
Need more space? You can book two runs to be joined together for extra room.
Daily Care & Comfort
Your bunny will be checked on at least twice daily—during feeding times and their daily cleans. Since we live on-site, they often receive even more attention throughout the day!
During their stay, we provide everything they need, including:
✔️ Cozy beds & litter trays
✔️ Toys & tunnels for enrichment
✔️ Unlimited fresh hay
✔️ Farmer’s market greens, grass & weeds
✔️ Fresh water & dry food
You're welcome to bring your bunny’s favourite items from home—just be sure to label them to avoid mix-ups during cleaning.
(Food Note: We feed Burgess Excel nuggets. If your bunny is on a different dry food, we recommend bringing a supply to prevent tummy upsets.)
Important Information
Vaccinations
📌 All rabbits must be vaccinated, with an up-to-date certificate uploaded to your client portal before arrival.
📌 Boosters that have lapsed or new vaccinations must be done at least 14 days before drop-off.
📌 We cannot accept unvaccinated rabbits, and your booking isn’t confirmed until an updated vaccination certificate is uploaded.
Medication
💊 We can administer medications, please note there will be additional charges for oral medicating. Ensure you pack enough for the entire stay, plus extra in case of delays.
💊 All medications must be in their original vet packaging, clearly labelled with your bunny’s name and the medication name.
💊 If your bunny has a history of stasis, we ask that you bring their critical care and medication from home.
Unneutered Male Rabbit Surcharge
🐰 Due to the natural behaviour of unneutered male rabbits (such as spraying and stronger odour), a 15% surcharge per day applies to ensure a clean and comfortable environment for all our guests.
Guinea Pig Boarding
Our smaller guests enjoy their own individual, secure, and spacious indoor runs, each approximately 2m x 1m. Every run is equipped with plenty of cozy hideaways and snuggle spots, ensuring a comfortable and stress-free stay. We clean all runs daily and provide lots of love and attention, checking on our guests at least twice a day—often more, as we live on-site.
We take care of all their needs, including dry food, unlimited hay, and fresh greens twice a day. If your guinea pig has a special diet, we recommend bringing their usual pellets to prevent tummy upsets.
We primarily use water bowls, but we also have water bottles available. If your guinea pig prefers a bottle, just let us know, and we’ll happily add one to their run. You’re welcome to bring along any familiar belongings from home—just be sure to label everything before arrival.
Nail Clipping
We can check and clip your bunny's nails while they are boarding with us.
Costs for nail clipping are;
$18 per rabbit
$13 per Guinea Pig
(please note if your pet's nails are too long while they are boarding with us they will be trimmed so they can move freely and pain-free and charges will apply for this).
For non-boarders - Monday - Friday Only -
$25 per rabbit
$15 per Guinea Pig

Saturday: 9.30 am - 10.30 am
Sunday: 4.30 pm - 5.45 pm
Public Holiday Weekends, if a public holiday falls on a Friday or Monday we will be open the public hoilday but: CLOSED during the Sat/Sun (for pick-up/drop-offs).
Summer peak time 2025/2026 we are closed for pick-up and drop-offs between the 22nd of December 2025 to the 4th of January 2026 inclusive.
