Rabbit Boarding

Rabbit Boarding

Welcome to Elite Bunny Retreat, where we offer indoor boarding for your furry friends in individual runs that are purpose-designed for their comfort.

We have two run sizes available: the Elite Run, which is 2m x 1m, and the Delux Elite Run, which is 3m x 1m. If you require more space, you can book two runs to be joined together.

Our guests are checked on a minimum of twice a day when they are fed, and then again when they have their daily cleans, but in reality, it is often more as we live on-site, and we often have guests arriving and departing.

During your pet's stay, we will provide everything they need for their stay, including beds, litter trays, toys & tunnels, unlimited hay, fresh farmer's market greens, grass & weeds, water, and dry food.  You are also welcome to bring your furry friend's favourite items from home, but please ensure to label all items, and be aware that there is the risk of items being lost/swapped around during cleaning.

(It does pay to note that we feed Burgess Excel nuggets, so if your bun is on a different dry food, we encourage you to bring a supply of your usual pellets to avoid any potential upset tummies.)

It is important to note that all rabbit boarders must be vaccinated and have their current certificate from their vet loaded to your client portal before your arrival.   Any boosters that have lapsed or new vaccinations must be done at least two weeks (14 days) prior to dropping off.   We're very sorry, but we cannot accept any unvaccinated rabbits on the property.   In cases of advanced bookings your booking is not confirmed until an updated image of your vaccination certificate from your veterinarian is uploaded into your client portal.

If your pet requires medication, we can administer it for an additional $1 daily. Please pack enough medication for the duration of their stay plus a little extra in case of unforeseen extra days, and make sure it's in the original packaging from your vet, clearly labelled with their name and the name of the medication. If your bunny has a history of stasis, we ask you to bring your own critical care and medication from home.

And remember while you are away we will update our FB page with photos of all our lovely guests so be sure to follow our page to check what your fur baby is up to!

Guinea Pig Boarding

The smaller of our guests are housed in their own individual safe spacious indoor runs that are approximately 2m x 1m.  All runs have plenty of hideaways and spaces to snuggle up in.  All runs are cleaned daily, and along with lots of pats and attention, they are checked on a minimum of twice a day, often more as we live on-site.

We provide all of their needs including dry food, (but suggest if they are on a special diet you bring your own pellets to avoid tummy upsets), unlimited hay, and fresh greens twice a day.

We use water bowls but also have a supply of water bottles available so if your guinea pig prefers to drink from one do let us know and we can add it to their run.  You are welcome to bring any belongings from home just don't forget to label all items before your arrival.
